Seychelles is best experienced as a collection of islands rather than a single beach resort.
Mahé gives you the most variety. It is where you will find Victoria, local markets, Creole restaurants, mountain trails, beaches and much of the country’s everyday life. Praslin feels quieter and more immersed in nature, with the Vallée de Mai and some of the archipelago’s most famous beaches. La Digue takes things even slower, with bicycles, quiet roads and the spectacular granite landscape around Anse Source d’Argent.
The mistake would be to spend your entire trip inside one resort.
Seychelles rewards curiosity. Take a boat into the marine parks, walk through ancient palm forests, explore a Creole market, spend an afternoon on a remote beach or move between islands and let each one show you something different.
It is also a destination where luxury and nature work unusually well together. You can have a beautiful resort, private beach and excellent food without feeling completely removed from the landscape around you.
For us, that balance is what makes Seychelles special.
