Being of assistance to those in need is comforting. As much as I would love to say that everyone should practice charity, it is not a must that you should. You may have specific reasons why you are visiting a country and donating to charity may not be one of them.

However, you can use several other options which go a long way like showing concern towards the welfare of  the natives, sharing a meal with those who need it, or doing anything in your power to offer help to those who truly need it.

You will always come across those who need some form of help in a foreign country.


learning the language of the indigenous people you are visiting sometimes shows the natives that you are interested in their culture.
